Dial Through Number
This allows the Dial Through number for the PBX to be entered as a default value for all local devices. The dial through number normally is for an Auto Attendant (or DISA) and should allow callers to enter the number of the extension they want to speak to.
Domain
Domain name field of telephone system hosting the SIP extensions. This field will contain the domain name that is required by the telephone system to register the Softphones in the correct way. In general the domain is either a name or can be an IP address. For example the LAN or WAN IP address of the telephone system. This value is used by all Softphone users of this Site.
Proxy
IP address or domain name of the SIP proxy server. This proxy domain name or IP address is used by the softphone users to register their built-in SIP softphone to the telephone system or SIP server. This address can either be a local (LAN) or a public (WAN) domain name or IP address. Optional, the Proxy field can also contain a specific port number in case the default port (UDP port 5060) is not used by the telephone system or SIP server. It is possible to add the required SIP port by using a colon and the port number. For example: 10.1.192.1:5070
(This setting should be configured with the same value as set in the MRG remote settings of the Panasonic telephone system)
Registration Timer
This is used to configure the interval (in seconds) to send REGISTER messages from the softphone client to the telephone system (over SIP). By default, this value is set to 500 seconds. The Softphone client will register again after this timer is elapsed. Please be aware this timer cannot be too small, some SIP servers or telephone systems will not allow a very short timer value.
(Also be aware that the network firewall/router also has a UDP port timer, this value should be equal or higher than the Registration Timer)
